What Happens If I Don’t Store User Passwords In The CRM?

Because of the increased concern about online security, and the fact that AccessAlly passwords can currently only be stored in a non-encrypted custom field, many users choose not to store the user passwords in their CRM.

While there is no significant loss of functionality when you opt NOT to store passwords, please be aware that some features may not work as advertised.

See below for examples.

Features Affected By Not Storing AccessAlly Passwords

  • You will not be able to email the username/password to new clients after they purchase access to your membership or online course. HOWEVER, you can securely display their login info on the thank you page (tutorial).
  • You will not be able to send auto login links to current email subscribers
