Is this scenario right for you?
This is the perfect scenario for you if you’re creating a course that has different levels (example: Bronze, Silver, Gold) where higher levels have access to content in the lower levels.
Please note! There are many ways that you can create this type of course or membership using AccessAlly. This tutorial walkthrough will show you the simplest option but you can take this format and tweak it to make it work best for your course.
1. Scenario Overview
If you’re creating a course or membership with multiple levels like DIY, Community, and VIP or Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
The image below is an example of what this looks like for a user that is at the highest level of your course. They have access to all three levels within your course.
If a user purchases Level 1 they’ll see level 2 and level 3 as greyed-out icons. If they purchase Level 2 they’ll see Level 3 as a grey-out icon.
How to nest offerings within one another
Create 3 separate AccessAlly Offerings, with all of the pages and content you want in each level. In our example, we’ll use Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Click on the “Add” button in the top right corner of your offering, and select Existing Offering.
Inside of your Silver Offering, you will nest the Bronze Offering.
Inside of your Gold Offering, you will nest the Bronze and Silver offerings.
Now everyone who purchases the Gold Offering will be able to access everything included in it.
