AccessAlly Tags vs. Release Offering

In AccessAlly tags are a powerful and easy way to provide access to content on your pages.

Anyone with the tag can see the content on those pages, instantly!

While tags are powerful, you may prefer to use the Release Offering option. This option uses tags – and sends out drip module release module content along with sending AccessAlly Module Release Emails.

Tags are quick and easy to use, but the Release Offering is extremely helpful as it drips content & sends AccessAlly Module Release Emails.

Page Tag Example

In the example below, any user on the site, can see the page – if they have the “Amazing Course Instant Access” or “Amazing Course Base Access” tags.

And, any user that has the tag “Amazing Course Revoke Access” can not see the page.

Tags are all about the pages/posts they are used on and if the user has that tag.

Release Offering

The Release Offering is automatically added to your AccessAlly Opt-in Forms and Order Forms.

It’s a unique operation that is made when you create a new Offering in AccessAlly. It will automatically appear on your AccessAlly opt-in forms and order forms.

Release Offering is all about how someone moves through drip Offering content & gets Module Release Emails as each new part of your content is ready for the user to access.

What does the Release Offering do?

The Release Offering option works with the Module Release Timers in an Offering to do the following:

  • Give access to Offerings upon purchase from an AccessAlly Opt-in Form or Order Form
  • Applies the Base Module tag
  • Waits between module releases
  • Applies new module page tags as released
  • Sends AccessAlly Emails as each new module is released

Example Module Release Timers

As each timer moves down new tags are automatically applied to give access to pages.

The Offering Release also allows for AccessAlly Emails to be sent out as each new Module Release Timer is applied.

FAQs

Q: Can I use a tag to give access to an offering after someone completes a quiz?
A: You can use a tag to give someone access to a page with that tag after completing a quiz.

Although we recommend having a user fill out an AccessAlly opt-in form placed in the quiz results if your goal is to give access to an Offering with drip module release content and you would like to send AccessAlly Emails as each new module is released.
