When integrated with your Amazon AWS account, ProgressAlly will automatically create a bucket in the us-east-1 region. The following steps are useful if you want to manually select region for Amazon S3 Bucket.
1. Go to https://s3.console.aws.amazon.com/
2. Click on “Create Bucket”.
3. Enter a name for the bucket. The name needs to be unique, and it can be just a random string of characters.
4. Choose a region for the bucket. The region will determine the cost of storage. When not using a CDN / CloudFront, this will also determine which region will get the fastest response time. It is usually a good idea to select the region that is closest to home. Here is a list of the regions https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rande.html#s3_region
In Step 3, UNCHECK the “Block all public access” option. ProgressAlly will configure the access settings automatically.
Use default for the other steps and create the bucket.
Enter the bucket name in ProgressAlly → Video → Settings.
