Locating the AccessAlly Shortcode Adder in the WordPress Classic Editor

As of AccessAlly version 3.0.0, the shortcode adder is available in the WordPress Gutenberg interface. However, we understand that you may still prefer to use the classic editor. Here’s how to locate the AccessAlly shortcode adder in the WordPress classic editor.

Once you activate your AccessAlly/AccessAlly Pro plugin, the shortcode icon will appear in the toolbar on the page/post you are editing.

When in the page/post editor, you can be in one of two modes, text or visual. Below are how the icons appear for both plugins.

Once you click on the shortcode adder, you will be able to see a comprehensive list of possible shortcodes. Please select the proper code and always refer back to the links above for their expected action and any additional attribute changes you may need to make.
