Issue: Delay before changes are visible in my site in AccessAlly

If you’ve made changes on the backend of your site, but you haven’t seen the changes on the frontend, we’ll take a look at what causes this issue and how to fix it.

What causes the delay

This could be due to caching on your server. Caching allows your website to load faster, but it also means there is a delay for back-end changes to migrate to the front-end.

How to fix delay in visible changes issue

Option 1: Contact your host

Step 1: Contact your host’s tech support for options to clear the server cache.

Option 2: Caching Plugin

If you’re using a caching plugin try to temporarily disable the plugin to see the changes more quickly, or you can modify your caching settings to allow for more frequent clearing.

Testing

When you’ve made these adjustments and you’re ready to test, double-check your work on an incognito browser to avoid caching on your regular browser.
